(ANSA) - Rome, May 19 - Italian youngsters rely on the Web mainly for checking email and keeping up social-network contacts but "are not Web-addicted," according to a survey published Thursday.
Less than half (47%) of those polled said they used the Internet only in a "sporadic" way.
Six percent said they regularly used it for study.
Young people in the south of Italy used the Web less than their northern counterparts, the survey showed.
